This Pioneer wagon was originally made because our local Elementary school does what they call a "Pioneer Expedition" trip that consist of all the kids making and bringing with them a Pioneer wagon and supplies from the school to a near by local camp ground. The idea of the whole thing is to educate the kids to the hardships the early pioneers had when traveling west to California.
It was first used by my son Kyle when he was in third grade, nine years ago. Since that first use the old wagon has made nine total trips with nine different kids!
The attention to detail was very important as was the durability. Since that first use there has only been one breakdown but in true pioneer style we manged to fix it on the trail and keep going.
