My love of art started about five years of age. Tracing the funny papers with my moms typing paper. It didn't take me long to learn the lines and I no longer needed to trace. I think this was an extremely profound start towards my new found love. ART !!!

From there I have explored every medium that has crossed my path. At this time in my life my passion is metal sculpture. I have been playing with metal for a long time, more focused in the past seven years. My love before metal sculpture was ceramics. My wife and I started a small ceramics business ten years ago called Trinity Dirt Works, and we have been madly in love ever since.

Art for us is a way, not a thing. I'm self taught, learning as I go has been a natural path for me. I've developed an eye for seeing life in inanimate objects. I will find a piece of metal that speaks to me, then the vision will fill in the blanks. Using reclaimed metal is very fun and challenging. I don't just weld old junk together and call it art. Each sculpture is well thought out, they are then primered with three coats and hand painted. I love to mix mediums like glass and steel, ect, ect. It's my passion to play with all things!
